Bronius Grazys was born in 1952 in Kaunas.
He graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts in 1976 with a degree in painting, and has been teaching there since 1983. He has been presenting his art in exhibitions since 1976. He has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association since 1988, and a member of the group „24“ since 1990.

Grazys created compositions of figures, landscapes, and still life. The artist's works often display complex compositions; a dark background is combined with multicoloured figures; in his later works bright colours dominate. His work is characterized by abstract forms, purified motifs (man, cat, fish, boat), and a surrealistic style.
